STREET CULTURE - Milan

The first edition of Street Culture, a free-entry festival dedicated to street culture, has unfortunately been postponed due to the bad weather forecast for the city of Milan this weekend.

Slow Music ETS – a cultural association that has its fundamental principles in work ethics and the defense of the rights of users and operators in the sector – in collaboration with the historic live promoter Barley Arts announces the new date of the event: from Friday 9 to Sunday 11 May 2025, again at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan.

Street Culture will give all participants the opportunity to learn about and deepen their knowledge of the social and cultural values of street art within the splendid setting of the city of Milan, one of the Italian cities of reference for this reality. The public will be won over by a long list of street artists – buskers, writers, jugglers, dancers, performers, storytellers and much more – who will make themselves known with their art and special workshops where they will illustrate all the facets of their world.

Among the partners of the event, Outdoor Arts Italia ETS stands out, the national association that brings together the entities that care about the artistic use of public space, with particular reference to street art and entertainment, so that its social, historical, cultural, artistic, educational, economic and tourist value is recognized by the State institutions both locally and nationally. Outdoor Arts Italia will select, together with Slow Music ETS, the performances presented by the festival, which will include live music, dance and street theater.

The guest of honor of Street Culture will be Mr. Wany, a world-famous writer, a versatile and multifaceted artist, with great experience in the field of visual art and color combinations. His production is rooted in street life, following an elegant flow in which he persistently applies his personal and unique style, becoming the most complete and prolific writer that Italy has ever known. Mr. Wany will manage the workshops regarding writers, telling us the story of this reality and his career.

Street Culture will be complemented by a quality food court curated by STREEAT® Food Truck Festival, with a series of workshops dedicated to the culture of eating well on the road that will see the participation of industry experts and nutritionists, and by quality music carefully selected by d-Trot, alias Claudio Trotta.

Street Culture, with its prestigious contributions, will give visitors - both fans of everything that is street culture and those who want to discover more about this multifaceted reality - a rich, fun and educational weekend.
