L’edizione di FNAS LAB 2023 è stata realizzata per il secondo anno nella città di Castelbuono (PA) grazie alla collaborazione con l’Associazione il Cinghiale e la Balena. 

Il giardino “abbandonato” come sinonimo di vitalità, dì libertà, di espressione, di vita fuori dai valori contemporanei di prestazione, efficienza, produttività. Un percorso che parla di giardino inteso come un nuovo modo di pensare la relazione con lo spazio e, di conseguenza, pensare ad un nuovo ruolo, una nuova funzione per l’uomo sulla terra; funzione vicina a quella di custode, protettore, vestale dello spazio che abita. Filo conduttore quindi di quest’anno sarà la relazione tra arti performative e natura.

The module aims to provide artists and cultural operators with the fundamental knowledge and tools to conceive and realize artistic interventions in public spaces, with particular attention to their social impact and urban regeneration. The course explores the relationship between art, anthropology and urban context, examining in depth the dynamics of community engagement and strategies for collaborating effectively with local stakeholders. The objective is to develop a renewed vision of performing arts in public space, enabling participants to create projects that activate processes of transformation and give back to the community.
